Police probe former city official
POLICE have begun an investigation into the city’s former deputy secretary-general, prosecutors said yesterday.
Dai Haibo, 53, has been the subject of a probe by the Communist Party of China since March, and was sacked on April 8.
The official is also a former executive deputy director of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Administration.
He was appointed deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai government and executive deputy director of the FTZ administration in 2013.
