SHANGHAI police said last night that some streets in the Lujiazui area of the Pudong New Area would be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians except those with the special passes this weekend for the security of the opening ceremony of the World Expo.
From 3pm today to 2pm Sunday, the area of Fenghe Road, Mingzhuta Road and Fucheng Road to the shore of the Huangpu River would be closed. From 6am to 10pm tomorrow, the area of Dongyuan Road and Lujiazui Road W. to the shore of the Huangpu River would be closed.
