A MAN has been arrested for being in possession of two ball pythons, the Minhang District People’s Procuratorate said yesterday.
The suspect was detained on November 16 after being found in the street carrying two boxes, containing two of the snakes, which have protected status in China. The man claimed that only one of the snakes was his and that the other belonged to a friend, prosecutors said.
