Three batches of household heaters failed quality tests and found to be safety hazards. One batch of heaters made in Zhejiang Province and sold at the Minhang outlet of Auchan had stability and mechanical problems.
Also, 25 percent of 40 batches of electric hand and foot warmers were found to be substandard. They failed in structure, components, power connections and label problems. Most of them were made in Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces.
