Rainstorms forecast to pelt city through Friday

There will be rainstorms between today and Friday, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said today.
A heavy storm was forecast to reach the city late this afternoon or tonight with the rain continuing until noon tomorrow. Another storm will begin tomorrow night and dump rain until Friday morning, the bureau said.
Precipitation will reach 70 to 90 millimeters, the bureau said, adding it may exceed 100 millimeters in some areas of the city.
