A GALLERY dedicated to endangered species that live only in the Yangtze River is scheduled to open at the Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park, officials said yesterday. The new facility will provide a showcase for rare creatures that inhabit the river, officials from the fisheries administration of Yangtze River Basin said. Experts from the gallery are also involved in researching ways to breed rare species in captivity.
