Rare animals premiere at park
RARE white lions and timber wolves will be among nearly 1,000 endangered animals of nine species making their first appearance at Shanghai Wild Animal Park from today to the end of October.
These animals have all been introduced to the park this year, Xinmin Evening News reported today.
During the 40 day animal festival, more than 200 animals of 20 species will dance and do tricks on stage, while sea lions will also perform for visitors, the report said.
Visitors can also feed beasts like tigers and lions by sitting in a special bus with reticulated stainless steel protective cladding.
