SHANGHAI Sun Island Resort in Qingpu District has had its 4A national tourism attraction rating removed by the national tourism administration for its substandard tourist center, ticketing office and bathrooms.
In addition, it stopped service on some amusement rides without telling the visitors.
It also failed to make public the resort’s maximum tourist capacity.
In total, 55 4A scenic spots nationwide had their 4A rating removed, which is the next-to-top rating.
