Restaurant shut down for food poisoning

MUYALI Restaurant was closed down yesterday after at least 21 people suffered food poisoning there last week, the Jing'an District Food and Drug Administration said.
The administration's preliminary investigation found the people had bacterial food poisoning and the restaurant will not be allowed to reopen until the full results of the probe are known.
Some people complained online about diarrhea and fever after eating at Muyali Restaurant on Wujiang Road in Jing'an District between last Wednesday and Friday.
Bao Haiyun said she ate at the restaurant with two friends. The next day she had a fever and serious diarrhea. Her friends had the same symptoms, according to Bao.
