‘Road killer’ held 14 years later
AN alleged killer has been arrested 14 years after a road rage incident that led to a man’s death.
Minhang District People’s Procuratorate said yesterday the suspect identified as Ni Qiang had attacked a man so severely that he died from his injuries.
The victim, Li Han, 46, was attacked in Huacao Town, Minhang, on November 7, 2002.
Li did not fight back, witnesses said, and managed to walk to a hospital alone, but died after his condition worsened.
Ni fled to neighboring Zhejiang Province, and police in the provincial capital Hangzhou tracked him to a rented property last August.
