Schoolgirl dies after fainting

A fourth grader at Tianshan No.1 Primary School died after fainting around midday, Changning District Education Bureau said yesterday.
The girl fell to the ground while walking from her classroom during lunchtime. Her classmates called the teacher, who then called the ambulance and her parents.
The girl was announced dead at 2pm after rescue attempts failed and the hospital said it was possible that she had died of suffocation.
Witnesses said the girl was suffocated by a fish ball when having lunch and collapsed after rushing out for water, according to thepaper.cn.
