POLICE are searching for a college student who has been missing for almost a fortnight. Qin Xiu, a sophomore at an institution in Songjiang University Town, took a bullet train from Shanghai to Guangzhou, in south China’s Guangdong Province, on January 20, said officers. Since then, family and friends have not heard from her.
She bought a ticket for a flight from Shanghai on January 24 to her hometown of Liuzhou, in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. However, she did not take the flight. Police are investigating at her college.
