THE deputy director of Jinshan District is being investigated on suspicion of taking bribes, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate said yesterday.
Lu Jin, who has held the post for four years, has been placed under “coercive measures” by the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate Prosecutors’ Office. The term is a catchall for everything from summons by force to bail, residential surveillance, detention or arrest.
