TWO women have been charged with running a prostitution service over the Internet, the Minhang District People’s Procuratorate said yesterday.
According to prosecutors, the unnamed pair worked both as prostitutes and pimps for other women, and made up to 60,000 yuan (US$9,200) a month from their illicit activities. The women were detained in September last year following a nine-month police investigation.
