Mobile phone users in Shanghai will be able to receive the Shanghai Daily mobile newspaper every morning from today.
The daily morning edition mobile paper will target foreigners living in Shanghai, educated white-collar workers and students of English.
Shanghai Daily and Shanghai Lantop Information Technologies Co Ltd will run the mobile paper.
The mobile paper will deliver the major news from Shanghai, the Yangtze River Delta Region and other parts of China. It will feature a wide variety of local news and practical services. The news will also have Chinese summaries.
The Shanghai Daily is the authorized partner of the official Website of Expo 2010 so you will get all the latest Expo information.
Subscription will cost 3 yuan (44 US cents) a month.
To subscribe, Shanghai Mobile users should send a text message to 10658258 while Shanghai Telecom E-Surfing users should send a text message to 10628666. Shanghai Unicom users can send the message to 106286662 for a free trial until mid-April.
