Shanghai Week gets under way

SHANGHAI Week is set to get under way today at the Milan World Expo.
The event is scheduled to run through Sunday and will include a host of events and activities designed to boost ties between the two cities.
Tomorrow, the “Shanghai. Let’s meet!” event will open at the City Pavilion at Sino-Italian Center.
This is a Sino-Italian project designed to improve knowledge and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
Also tomorrow, officials are expected to sign a deal between Zone One Milan and Shanghai’s Jing’an District regarding exchanges and cooperation in the fields of fashion, design, culture and tourism.
