Shoes fail tests

THE city's consumer protection commission found some sandals produced by GAP and C&A substandard for problems including poor color fastness and strength. A pair of GAP sandals was found to have poor color fastness on its leather, while a pair of C&A shoes failed in adhesion of the parts, color fastness and resistance to abrasion. Eleven of the shoes had flaws among the 30 products checked.
