Sidewalk caves in

A 70-METER section of sidewalk along Pingxingguan Road in Jing’an District caved in yesterday forcing police to close the road. The hole, which was 5m deep, appeared close to a construction site for a residential property development on a section of the street between Lingshi and East Donghe roads. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
