TANAKA Yutaka, general manager of the local distributor of Phiten, a popular health product, received four years in prison for smuggling, the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court ruled yesterday.
Phiten International Trade (Shanghai) Co Ltd was fined 1.2 million yuan (US$175,756) and three import agents were fined 1.4 million yuan each for smuggling.
