TWO men who tried to sell a pet python have been arrested for selling and buying rare and endangered wild animal, prosecutors in Minhang District said. The two men, surnamed Tan and Sun, tried to sell their pet python because of the cost of raising it. Ball python comes under state protection as a Grade 2 protected species in China.
