A 17-YEAR-OLD student died after running during a physical education class in a school in the Pudong New Area on Monday. The student, surnamed Lu, was in the second year of a vocational school which is affiliated to the Shanghai Maritime University on 206 Jijing Road. The cause of the death will be confirmed after an autopsy, school officials said. Witnesses said the student sat down suddenly after the PE class after exercising on the playground. The Shanghai No.7 People’s Hospital said it sent an ambulance to the school at 10:30am. The boy died in the ambulance.
