Substandard packaging

TWO samples of Fisher Price baby mats failed to meet China’s packaging standards, the Shanghai Consumer Rights Protection Commission said yesterday. The opening on the bags was more than 36 centimeters, which exceeds the maximum allowed, it said. Also, the packaging used cord fasteners, which could pose a health risk to small children, it said.
