FOUR out of 40 batches of underwear checked by the Shanghai Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau failed quality tests for fiber content and pH index. Of the four batches, one was made by Shanghai Shenyi for the Luosimei brand and was sold at Shanghai Landmark Department Store.
Another, bearing the brand Jingya and made by a company based in Nanjing, was sold at the Changyang outlet of Shanghai Auchan. The first had a fiber content problem and the second a pH problem.
