THE Ministry of Science and Technology said it is committed to supporting Shanghai as it strives to become a world-leading center for innovation. A key milestone in the achievement of that goal will be the creation of the Zhangjiang Comprehensive National Science Center, which will feature cutting-edge equipment and recruit leading talents to work on national science projects, the ministry said yesterday. More policies to support the goal are in the pipeline, it said.
