PASSENGERS can check in for flights for Shanghai’s Hongqiao airport from neighboring Taicang City after a terminal building opens today. Travelers can check in their luggage and will be issued with boarding cards at Taicang Terminal Building at the city’s bus station. The airport authority will then bus them to the airport. The airport authority has arranged for eight shuttle buses for the 45-minute ride to the airport every day. Passengers can head straight to the departure hall. Passengers are advised to arrive at Taicang Terminal Building about three hours before their flights from Hongqiao. It has similar options also in Wuxi and Kunshan.
