FOUR brands of bottled water, from 137 tested by the Shanghai Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, have failed quality tests.
Three unnamed brands were found to contain excess bacteria, while another, Yinxingshu, was found to have excess bromate, a carcinogenic substance. The products have been removed from sale, officials said.
