Top Brands Fail Test

POPULAR fashion brands like Zara, CK Jeans and Nautica failed the latest quality test conducted by the Shanghai Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, the bureau announced yesterday.
The bureau found 10 batches of garments to be substandard, including cardigans of Zara, jackets of Nautica, sweaters of CK Jeans, suits of Vifille and casual knitwear of TeenieWeenie.
The fabric in Zara cardigans did not match the contents declared on the label, the bureau said. It marked the second time in a row that Spanish fashion brand Zara failed the quality test.
In last year's quality test, a pair of Zara pants failed the pH value test.
