Tourist deals for women on March 8

TOURIST spots across the city will host a variety of activities and offer discounts or free admission to women visitors on the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8.
The Binjiang Forest Park, which is hosting a spring outing season on the day, will let in women for free.
Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden will offer a 20-percent discount from March 7-9 for women. Its admission fee is 60 yuan (US$8.8) per person.
Gongqing Forest Park will offer 50 percent discount to women on March 8. The original price is 15 yuan per person.
The Haiwan Forest Park where Shanghai Plum Blossom Festival is underway will offer half price tickets to women wearing qipao on the day. Tickets at Haiwan cost 50 yuan.
From March 4 to March 8, the Shanghai Happy Valley will offer half-price tickets for women. It will also host a shutterbug contest for women and free makeup show for spring outing on March 8. The official price is 230 yuan per person.
The Shanghai World Financial Center will invite women visitors to a flower arrangement class on March 8. After the class they can take their creations home.
Several popular female Disney characters will welcome tourists at Shanghai Disney Resort on March 8 and interact with visitors.
