Traffic accident leaves 1 dead in Pudong

A minibus crashed into a bus carrying tourists in the Pudong New Area this morning, killing one and injuring several others, police said.
The minibus was being driven by a 24-year-old man surnamed He, who lost control of the vehicle. It overturned near the junction of Jiyang and Dezhou roads before it hit the bus, according to the police.
One person in the minibus was killed. No one in the tourist bus was injured in the accident, which occurred around 5:30am.
Local news portal Xinmin.cn reported that the minibus was transporting about a dozen construction workers to work at the time and may have been over its capacity.
Police didn’t confirm the information as they said they are still investigating the incident.
