Trapper zaps passerby

A MAN who set a 300-meter-long electrified net to trap animals on wasteland in Jinshan District but instead zapped a passerby has been detained, police said yesterday.
The victim required hospital treatment for injuries to his hand and leg. The trapper said he was trying to catch animals to eat and was confident the charge was too low to kill a human.
