Tremor in Baoshan

AN earth tremor measured at 1.7 magnitude hit Baoshan District at 5:36am yesterday, according to the Shanghai Earthquake Administration.
The epicenter was detected at 31.4 degrees of north latitude, 121.5 degrees of east longitude, with a depth of 6 kilometers. The epicenter was 23km from People’s Square, said the administration. There were no reports of casualties or damage to property.
