THE United Kingdom Pavilion at the World Expo 2010 yesterday donated over 2 million yuan (US$302,179) raised from online sales of its pavilion components to a Shanghai charity for paralyzed children.
The pavilion began selling the 60,000 acrylic rods containing rare seeds which composed the main part of the pavilion on October 28, when the first 8,000 seeds sold out within two minutes.
