Veggies abound
VEGETABLES will be in full supply and the price will decrease in May as the temperature goes up, Shanghai Agricultural Commission assured locals yesterday. The market supply of vegetables was 75,000 tons during the first eight days this month, almost the same as the same period of last year.
In April, the vegetable supply fell by 8.5 percent year-on-year to 247,000 tons last month. This caused the previous vegetable price hike, officials said.
