THE Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court has upheld a sentence of seven years in prison to Yang Haidong for illegal trading in dangerous substances. Yang, a Heilongjiang Province native, sold sodium cyanide on the Internet. Last year, Cao Fei, who lived in Pudong New Area, bought 3 grams for 1,500 yuan (US$220) to commit suicide.
