Village poultry killer captured

AN animal that killed poultry in a village in the Pudong New Area several times earlier this year has been identified as a stray dog.
Village officials and the Pudong forestry authority used a special cage to trap the killer. A surveillance video shows the dog entering the cage and killing the birds it housed on Tuesday night. The stray dog reacted violently when officials approached. Forestry authority officials said they suspected the dog was abandoned by residents who had moved out of the neighborhood and nobody had fed it.
