A total of 1,000 wheelchairs are available to needy people at the World Expo site, organizers said yesterday. Most of the chairs are held at site entrances and people can apply with ID cards and pay 200-yuan (US$29.30) deposit. They can be returned at any wheelchair area on departure.
Some are located around the site for emergency help.
