Widow wants action against bloggers

THE widow of the late film director Xie Jin applied for law-enforcement order yesterday from Jing'an District People's Court yesterday.
Xu Dawen asked the court to take measures to force Song Zude and Liu Xinda, scandal-blog writers and also twins, to pay about 290,000 yuan (US$42,460) in compensation and make public apologies for tarnishing Xie's reputation. The twins lost a lawsuit and were adjudged to tell lies in their blogs that Xie had sex with a prostitute before he died in a hotel and Xie had a son with actress Liu Xiaoqing outside the marriage.
