METRO police have reminded passengers in winter coats to keep a close eye on their cellphones on the subway. Officers said the majority of recent cellphone thefts were reported by Metro passengers with their cellphones in their coat pocket. Police said thick winter clothing prevented victims from detecting the loss immediately.
