Woman, 35, arrested for murder

A 35-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested for allegedly killing a baby and injuring two others.
According to prosecutors, the suspect, surnamed Liu, had an affair with her boss, who was not named, which lasted more than 10 years. After learning that he had no intention of divorcing his wife, they had a row and she was promptly fired from the job.
On June 12 this year, Liu went to the home of her former boss in the Pudong New Area and kicked up a storm in the presence of other family members.
During the argument, Liu took a kitchen knife and stabbed his 15-month-old son to death, injured another 5-year-old baby and the man’s mother.
Liu was caught by police at the scene itself. She told police that she had given everything up during the relationship and therefore could not handle his sudden indifference toward her.
Both Liu and her ex-boss are from Jiangsu Province. After he started the company, he asked her to come over and join the company.
