Woman dies at 鈥榗linic鈥

A WOMAN was found dead on Monday at an illegal medical clinic that operated from an apartment above a wet market in the Pudong New Area.
According to an STV report, the 48-year-old victim, a native of Jiangsu Province, collapsed about 2:30pm while on her way from the second floor clinic to a toilet on the floor below.
An ambulance was called but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The clinic was owned by a 41-year-old Anhui Province native surnamed Yang. He had been in business for more than five years, though was not licensed to practice medicine, the report said.
As well as a range of medical books, implements and drugs, police found the makeshift clinic littered with dead cockroaches and blood-stained bandages.
Yang has been detained for questioning, police said.
