Police are investigating the case of a woman who was found dead on Tuesday in a hotel in Baoshan District.
The body of the Shanghai University postgraduate student, who was not named, was discovered in her private bathroom at the hotel on Jufengyuan Road. Police found burnt charcoal in the woman’s room, according to xinmin.cn. They have ruled out murder but are still investigating.
