Woman hit by ad board

A STREET-side advertisement hoarding injured an elderly woman in downtown Huangpu District yesterday afternoon. The 10-meter-long and 1-meter-wide wooden board belonged to a coal company on Zhonghua Road. According to the quality and safety supervision authority, the board was old and worn out and came off from second floor and hit the lady. The women, in her 80s, was rushed to hospital. She suffered bruises on the head but her condition was not serious. The company has agreed to compensate.
