Woman killing husband for his alleged long history of domestic violence under arrest for murder

A woman suspected of killing her husband to end years of domestic violence against her has been arrested for murder, according to Baoshan District People’s Procuratorate.
It occurred early morning of August 14, when Su Yun allegedly beat to death her husband Deng Lin, who was asleep then, with a hammer, prosecutors said.
Su said Deng had a history of domestic violence since they married in 2009, which left her in deep despair. And she had even wanted to commit suicide.
She said one night before the murder, Deng beat and kicked her again after going through her chat record on her mobile phone and suspecting she was having an affair.
She added that she didn't want to stand suffer any longer, and killed him to “free herself.” She handed herself to police after the murder, prosecutors said.
