Woman ‘tricked after sex’

THREE suspects have been arrested for allegedly defrauding a woman 25,000 yuan (US$3,620) by “playing dating tricks” on her, police in Huangpu District said yesterday. One of the suspects, who was friends with the victim on WeChat, asked her out and after the two had sex in a hotel room, another suspect appeared accusing her of intending to blackmail his friend, police said. The two then allegedly threatened her with violence and forced her to pay up, while the third suspect stood guard outside the hotel door.
