World Cup travel tips for fans
VISAS for football fans traveling to the World Cup in Brazil will only allow them to stay there for 90 days and travelers with this visa must enter the South American country before July 13, the Pudong exit-entry authorities said yesterday.
Officers said Brazil hasn’t offered a visa-on-arrival facility to Chinese travelers, so they must apply for a tourist visa with a 90-day limit if they want to catch the World Cup action.
Officers also advised local football fans to ensure that their visas and passports are all in order to avoid problems with Brazilian inspection staff.
They said this month they have dealt with more than 520 Chinese people who have left the country to watch the World Cup in Brazil, an increase of about 50 percent from last month.
