Yidao driver denied payout

A DRIVER from car-hailing service Yidao who used a fake ID to register has been refused a 55,000 yuan (US$8,000) insurance payout after an accident, a Pudong New Area court ruled yesterday.
The court said the driver surnamed Li had used a fake ID to pretend to be a more experienced driver to register with Yidao.
Yidao requires drivers to have at least three years’ experience but Li only obtained his license last year.
