SHANGHAI Party Secretary Han Zheng met Jean-Paul Agon, Chairman and CEO of L’Oreal Group and his delegation on Thursday.
Han said that the Shanghai government strives to create a more open, convenient and legalized business environment for domestic and foreign companies.
He promised that Shanghai will further deepen reforms and open up with more innovation.
He said L’Oreal Group has made sound achievement in Shanghai after 20 years of development and spoke highly of the group’s efforts in shouldering corporate social responsibilities.
Agon said that L’Oreal Group and Shanghai’s sound cooperation proves that companies and government can realize win-win development.
He praised China’s efforts in pursuit of innovation, sustainable development and high quality and he looked forward to deepening cooperation with China including Shanghai to increase innovation investment.
