Han Zheng visits China International Industry Fair
韩正参观工博会时表示加快向具全球影响力科技创新中心进军

SHANGHAI Party Secretary Han Zheng urged local officials to act with a sense of urgency to transform Shanghai into a global innovation center. He said so while visiting the 16th China International Industry Fair (CIIF) in Pudong.
At the booth of Huawei, a networking and telecommunications equipment manufacturer based in Shenzhen, Han examined the company’s products and asked questions about its high-speed data storage technology.
He then visited the booth of German software company, SAP SE, and learned about its Industry 4.0 project.
At the Industrial Design and Innovation Hall, Han showed interest in intelligent lighting which combines solar cell, LED lamp, Internet, surveillance camera and digital display to show the location and arrival times of buses.
Han also watched robots made by KUKA and ABB, the world’s leading robot manufacturers based in Japan and Sweden, and examined a fuel cell-powered drone made by Shanghai Fudan University. He was impressed by Siemens’ solutions for energy-consuming industries.
The theme of this year’s CIIF is “High-end, Smart and Green.” The fair has attracted exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, including Germany, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Italy and Switzerland.
