Mayor meets boss of Luksic Group from Chile

SHANGHAI Mayor Ying Yong met Andrónico Luksic, chairman of Luksic Group from Chile and a member of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Shanghai (IBLAC), on Monday.
Ying said Shanghai aims to become a world-class city in 2040, leading in innovation, culture and sustainable development. This year’s IBLAC conference in September has “Shanghai towards excellent global city” as the theme. He hopes Luksic Group can provide insights to Shanghai based on its expertise and experiences.
Luksic said Shanghai’s development is very impressive. His company is keen to increase investment in the city and help promote friendly ties between Santiago, the Chilean capital, and Shanghai.
