Wu Zhiming meets guests from Karachi, Pakistan
促进上海与卡拉奇合作 市政协领导会见巴基斯坦客人

WU Zhiming, chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Shanghai Committee, received a delegation of the Karachi Council on Foreign Relations from Pakistan on Thursday.
After giving them a warm welcome, he told the Pakistani guests about the city’s economic and social development and the role of the CPPCC, which is an advisory body to the people’s congress and the government.
Wu said China and Pakistan are friendly neighbors and have always supported each other. Shanghai and Karachi are sister cities with a lot of cooperation in urban planning, construction and management.
He said the two cities still have great potentials to deepen cooperation and his committee will utilize its resources to promote their exchanges and mutual development.
